Customs: Entry and exit Procedures

Traveler arriving in the country, whether returning or on a tourist, family, or business visit: Guinean customs welcomes you to Cape verde
Importers and travelers must observe the rules of the UEMOA Community Customs Code (CAC) and the Customs Code. With specific exceptions, they must:
  • Declare in detail (or in a simplified manner) the goods being transported (articles 65 and 66 – CAC).
  • Pay the duties and fees that are due on the goods transported (Art. 9º – CAC).
  • Comply with the formalities related to the control of foreign trade (art. 24 – CAC)
